These earrings feature semiprecious jade beads that have been dyed in juicy, tropical colours of red, yellow, and green. They are clasped by antiqued-copper coloured bead caps, and dangle sweetly from arched, antiqued-copper ear-wires.
I rarely use semiprecious stones that have been altered in colour, as I prefer natural stones; however, these colourful beads are so fun and gorgeous that I couldn't resist them. The colours meld into one another like the juices in a traffic-light cocktail.
Because all semiprecious stones are different, including in the way they take dye, the stone beads in your earrings may be slightly different from the ones shown. The ones in the photographs are a fairly average representation. If you have a preference for a lighter or darker colour scheme, just let me know in the 'note to WhiteleafJewellery' field that will appear when you check out of Zibbet. I'll send you a lighter or darker pair from the beads I have available.
These bright, summery earrings measure 53mm from top to bottom. From the bottom of the ear wires, the fruity drops measure 22mm in height, including the wire-wrapping, and 13mm across.
The kidney wires are copper based and are without nickel, so most sensitive ears should be fine wearing these.
